As the T8 gets closer to launch dates in different countries, Volvo has been announcing prices.
United Kingdom
The Volvo T8 plug-in SUV prices start at under £60,000 in the UK. On the road (drive-away) pricing is as low as £60,455. Because of 49g/km CO2 emissions, the XC90 T8 is exempt from London congestion charges.
Of the 3 T8 models available, Momentum, Inscription, and R-Design, the entry-level Momentum model will be the only one to qualify for the government’s £2500 Plug-in car grant once new rules are introduced in March
Germany
Pricing is from €76,705 which includes tax, but not any incentives.
United States
UPDATE October 2015 – the T8 XC90 PHEV will come with a free AeroVironment TurboCord, and is eligible for up to $4,600 in federal credit incentives.
Translating European prices would put the T8 PHEV at around $94,000. Official U.S. pricing for the XC90 T8 starts at $68,100 and will be around $64,000 after tax credits. The Volvo plug-in hybrid will come with a free AeroVironment TurboCord EVSE included.
Canada
In Canada, Volvo has priced the XC90 plug-in SUV at $73,400 for the base R-Design, and $75,000 for the Inscription model.
