Nov 27 -TopGear Magazine named the Jaguar I-Pace the EV of the Year. TopGear said “The I-Pace won’t be for everyone, but hats off to Jaguar for making a car that steps boldly into the unknown, and shows those pesky Germans the way.”
The Jaguar i-Pace was chosen as one of seven nominees for the Car of the Year 2019 award, with the winner of the award being announced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4th, 2019. From Car of the Year

Also in November, Alex On Autos reviewed the Jaguar i-Pace, and while it’s praised as being the first actual competitor to Tesla (being a luxury vehicle designed from the ground up to be an EV), Alex says the i-Pace “comes across as needing a little more time in the oven.”

Jaguar was awarded the 2019 German Car of the Year Award. Chosen by 12 expert journalists, it beat 58 other vehicles in the contest.
As of October 30, 563 new Jaguar i-Pace electric SUVs were registered in Norway and 209 were registered in the Netherlands.

The Jaguar I-Pace was first revealed in March 2018, and then proceeded to win all sorts of major awards including being named Car of the Year by Sunday Times, Auto Express, and T3, as well as being named a ‘Game Changer’ by Autocar.
