Tesla Roadster

The Tesla Roadster was first built in 2008, using a Lotus Elise chassis with an electric drivetrain designed, built, and installed by Tesla. Approximately 2,500 of them were built between February 2008, and December 2012.

In 2020, Tesla is launching a new Roadster that will be quicker than any of it’s other vehicles. The new Roadster will seat 4, and have a 0-60 mph speed of 1.9 seconds.
