August 28, 2019 Porsche announces the new Porsche Taycan set a record at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The pre-series Taycan (not production version) was driving by Lars Kern, and the lap time over the 20.6 km course was 7 minutes and 42 seconds. The record is for four-door, all-electric sports cars, but Porsche didn’t give information about the previous record holder. source: Porsche
